A scientific study from Japan, which monitored 21 individuals, has discovered that the levels of vitamin B6 and iron in the blood are closely related to the occurrence of anxiety and panic attacks.

The study concluded that the members who had a deficiency of both vitamin B6 and iron experienced occasional panic attacks which were marked by episodes of hyperventilation.

On the other hand, the members who had sufficient amounts of these two critical components didn’t experience any nervousness and hyperventilation issues.

The B vitamins and the iron are necessary for the amalgamation of tryptophan into serotonin which manages mental soundness and disposition, as well as rest and cardiovascular capacity.
Panic and hyperventilation attacks are paroxysmal psychiatric events which symptoms occur suddenly. These attacks are diagnosed if the patient experiences accelerated heart rate, palpitations, trembling or shaking, sweating, and shortness of breath.

These disorders are commonly linked to iron and B vitamins. However, the researchers tested various types of B vitamin. They found out that the vitamins B2 and B12 are unrelated to panic and hyperventilation attacks.

These disorders are linked specifically to a lack of vitamin B6. Nevertheless, all of the B vitamins are important for your mental well-being, and a lack of any of them can damage your mental health.
