Exfoliating Milk Honey Oatmeal Face Mask

Milk is an effective exfoliator since it contains lactic acids which break down dead cells and has a softening effect. Honey is a gentle exfoliator and moisturizer while oatmeal has abrasive texture that assists in taking off dead cells and sebum from pores.

What you need…

  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of ground oatmeal

What you have to do?

In a small bowl, mix thoroughly the above ingredients. Slather the mixture on face using fingertips in circular movements. Leave the mask to dry and go deep into your pores for about 10 minutes. Rinse it off using tepid water. Pat dry with a clean towel.


  1. For best effectiveness use raw unboiled milk for best results.
  2. Place a strainer in your sink to prevent clogging the sink.
  3. The honey used on your skin should be organic honey. Processed honey may cause skin irritations
